Banana Bread


Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or lard
1 cup sugar
2 eggs beaten
3 ripe bananas
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cowbrand
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup nuts
Directions:
  • Mix butter and sugar
  • add eggs and bananas
  • add flour and salt
  • add cowbrand, vanilla and nuts
  • Bake for 1h 15m at 350

Pizza Dough


Ingredients:
4 1/2 cups flour
8 tsp sugar
2 tsp yeast
2 tsp salt
500ml warm water
Directions:
  • Mix all ingredients together in mixer till it forms a dough

Saumon fumé, miso et tartine de sésame

Smoked salmon, miso & sesame tartine
Smoked salmon, miso & sesame tartine Recipe Ingredients:
2 tbsp white miso
2 tbsp tahini
4 slices of your favourite bread bread (we used sourdough)
100g pack smoked salmon
½ cucumber, cut into thin rounds
½ tbsp black sesame seeds
Directions:
  • Mix the miso with the tahini and 1 tbsp water in a bowl to make a spreadable paste. Toast the bread, then top with the miso paste, salmon, cucumber and black sesame seeds.

Grilled Salmon with Pineapple Salsa

Grilled Salmon with Pineapple Salsa Recipe Ingredients:
Juice of 3 limes, divided
2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp. honey
4 6-oz. skin-on salmon fillets
1 1/2 c. chopped pineapple
1/4 red onion, chopped
1 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
  • Make sauce: In a large bowl, whisk together juice of 2 limes, olive oil and honey.
  • Heat grill to high. Add salmon, brushing with honey-lime sauce, and grill until cooked through, 5 to 6 minutes per side.
  • Meanwhile, make pineapple salsa: In a medium bowl, combine pineapple, onion, remaining lime juice and cilantro and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve salmon warm with salsa.

BBQ Asian Grilled Salmon

BBQ Grilled Salmon Recipe Ingredients:
For The Asian Spicy BBQ Glaze
2 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tbsp. fish sauce
2 tbsp. mirin
4 tbsp. hoisin sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic chili paste
1 tbsp. grated ginger
Zest and juice of 1/2 a lime
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
For the Salmon
2 skin-on salmon fillets (about 1/3 lb. each)
1/3 c. Asian Spicy BBQ Glaze
1 green onion, sliced
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
Directions:
  • Make the BBQ glaze: In a bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Let stand at least 15 minutes to let flavors combine.
  • Preheat grill on high, 5 minutes. Once hot, carefully use tongs to rub an oiled paper towel over grates to clean and ensure no food residue or dirt.
  • Place salmon fillets directly on grill, skin side up. Cover and cook, 2 minutes. Using a heavy duty spatula, carefully flip salmon and place skin side down on grill.
  • Reduce heat to low and continue cooking, covered, 1 to 2 minutes more. Lift lid and brush BBQ glaze over salmon, applying generously until salmon is well-coated and saturated.
  • To serve, remove from grill and top with green onions and sesame seeds.

Spicy Sriracha Grilled Salmon

Hot Shot Grilled Salmon Recipe Ingredients:
1 c. sriracha
Juice of 2 limes
1/4 c. honey
4 6-oz. skin-on salmon fillets
Chopped fresh chives, for garnish
Directions:
  • Make Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, lime juice and soy sauce. Reserve 1/2 cup marinade for basting salmon after grilling.
  • Add salmon to a large Ziploc bag or baking dish and pour over marinade. Let marinate in the refrigerator at least 3 hours and up to overnight.
  • When ready to grill, heat grill to high. Oil grates and add salmon. Baste with marinade and grill until cooked through, 5 minutes per side.
  • Baste with reserved marinade and garnish with green onions. Serve with limes.

Sweet Chili-Lime Grilled Salmon

Sweet Chili-Lime Grilled Salmon Recipe Ingredients:
1 c. sweet chili sauce
Juice of 2 limes
4 6-oz. skin-on salmon fillets
Green onions, for garnish
Lime wedges, for serving
Directions:
  • Make Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, lime juice and soy sauce. Reserve 1/2 cup marinade for basting salmon after grilling.
